DuckDuckGo, the popular privacy-focused search engine, is working on a VPN service. The company has not yet made any official announcements.
If DuckDuckGo does launch a VPN service, it would be a major addition to the company's privacy offerings. DuckDuckGo already offers a number of privacy-focused features, such as private search, tracker blocking, and HTTPS Everywhere. A VPN would further protect users' privacy by encrypting their traffic and hiding their IP addresses.
It is still unclear when DuckDuckGo will launch its VPN service but here are some of the potential benefits of using a DuckDuckGo provided VPN:
It could encrypt your traffic and hide your IP address, making it more difficult for websites and advertisers to track you.
It could allow you to access blocked websites and content.
It could improve your online security by protecting you from malware and phishing attacks.
If you are concerned about your online privacy, a DuckDuckGo VPN could be a good option for you.
